Episode 9 - Peter Aguero

Storytelling mastermind Peter Aguero joins the LWL podcast for a long overdue episode to talk about pets, death, love and getting up in front of an audience and doing what one loves best. Both Dave and I apologize in advance but we had a major audio issue with this particular episode and, thanks to the amazing Nikki Knickers, we were able to salvage it but the episode is, as a result, a bit quiet. EPISODE TWO - featuring Allison Kave

WARNING - your mouth may water as much as mine does during the interview. This week's episode features the amazing, talented and ridiculously smart baker/entrepreneur Allison Kave. Owner and head pie genius at First Prize Pies, Allison is also one half of Butter & Scotch (with partner Keavy Landreth) and thanks to a successful Kickstarter campaign, they will be opening Brooklyn's first Craft Cocktail and Dessert Bar in 2014. In addition to discussing her upcoming cookbook First Prize Pies (to be released on March 14, 2014 by Stewart Tabori & Chang,) Allison and I talk about having famous brothers respectively and how hers had a close brush with death thanks to an Asian hornet sting while traveling around Vietnam.
